The phone will include the 7.1 Nougat Android operating system. This will allow for the fastest and most efficient performance possible, with more options and customization than other operating systems like iOS for instance.

When it comes to memory, the OnePlus 5 will not disappoint. The phone includes 6GB of RAM, though some markets overseas may feature 8GB. Additionally, the phone will offer up to 64 GB of internal storage. And though expandable storage won’t be an option, most people will find 64 GB to be plenty.

The estimated price for the OnePlus 5 is nearly half that of more expensive models like the Galaxy or iPhone. It is estimated that the price of the OnePlus 5 will be around $450, making it one of the more affordable options on the market, which means a lower upfront cost or payments per month, should you go that route.

The OnePlus 5’s camera will have a dual camera sensors, each about 12 MP which is on par with most other smartphones. In total, the phone’s camera will boast 23 MP. The specifications of the front camera are not yet known, but may be 16 MP for clear selfies.

The OnePlus 5 is said to include a metal body with glass. The phone will have one speaker, but plenty boastful. While there had been rumors that the OnePlus would not include a headphone jack, that is highly unlikely. Additionally, the phone’s battery will unlikely be removable, which is the case with most smartphones.

So far it is being suggested that the OnePlus 5 will be both water and dust resistant, making it more durable than previous models. The phone should be able to withstand up to 1.5 meters of water for at least 30 minutes, which is quite impressive.
What kind of battery will be included?
The phones battery is likely to be a 3,000 or 4,000mAh that should provide the phone with sufficient and long-lasting power. If rumors are true and the Dash Charge technology is included, the phone should charge exceedingly fast, from 0% to 50% in a little over 30 minutes.
