The new Renegade is available in four trims: Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk.
The base-level Sport trim gets 16-inch steel wheels, push-button start, split-folding rear seats, keyless entry, cloth upholstery, power windows and more.
The Sport trim can be upgraded with the Sport Appearance package, which adds roof rails and alloy wheels. Buyers can also get cruise control, air conditioning and power, heated mirrors through the Sport Appearance package.
The 2017 Jeep Renegade Latitude gets all the standard and optional features of the Sport trim in addition to automatic headlights, ambient LED lighting, automatic headlights, foglights, a 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth compatibility and more.
The Jeep Renegade Limited is a sizable step up in luxury. It gets leather upholstery, automatic wipers, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote engine start, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a heated steering wheel and more.
The 2017 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk is the off-road trim. It gets hill descent control, four-wheel drive, tow hooks, a raised suspension, 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, a full-sized spare, unique styling accents and more.
All of the Renegade's trim levels can be upgraded with My Sky sunroofs. These are great for cruising on sunny days.
The 2017 Jeep Renegade has two engine options. The base engine for the Sport and Latitude trims is a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder plant that generates 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The Limited and Trailhawk trims get a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. The later engine is optional for the Sport and Latitude.
