The Carbon Black package is all new for 2017. This appearance package gives the Cadillac CTS Luxury trim 18-inch alloy wheels, a black chrome grille, sport front seats and a spoiler for a more aggressive overall appearance.
The 2017 Cadillac CTS is available in five trim levels: CTS, Luxury, Premium Luxury, V-Sport and V-Sport Luxury. The CTS is a midsize sedan with enough seating for five people.
The new CTS got a new grille for its front end and subtle changes to its rear. The sedan is no longer available in the colors Cocoa Bronze Metallic and Silver Coast Metallic, but the colors Silver Moonlight Metallic and Bronze Dune Metallic were added.
The Premium Luxury trim is the best pick for purely comfort and convenience features. Highlights of this trim include 18-inch wheels, a self-parking system, tri-zone automatic climate control, adaptive suspension, a virtual surround-view camera, illuminated door handles and more.
The CTS V-Sport Luxury combines the best of comfort and performance. In addition to everything offered in the Premium Luxury trim, the CTS V-Sport Luxury also gets all the features of the CTS V-Sport trim. These features include a more powerful engine, performance tires, a sport-tuned suspension, upgraded brakes, a selectable Track mode, an electronic limited-slip rear differential and more.
The new Cadillac CTS sedan now comes equipped with a rear camera mirror and an improved Cadillac User Experience infotainment system that includes the configurable Teen Driver feature, which can monitor and limit certain functions of the car.
The Cadillac CTS base trim features 17-inch alloy wheels, a rearview camera, automatic headlights, keyless ignition and entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear parking senors, power front seats, simulated leather upholstery, Brembo brakes and more.
The base engine for most of the CTS trims is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder power plant that generates 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The V-Sport trim comes with a turbocharged V6 that pumps out 420 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. Other trims can be upgraded with a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 335 horsepower or 285 pound-feet of torque.
