The Audi A4 sedan is available in three trim levels: the Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The Ultra sub trim can be added to the Premium trim, adding a smaller engine with better gas mileage.
The Audi A4 Premium gets 17-inch wheels, forward collision mitigation, automatic xenon headlights, power front seats, a sunroof, tri-zone climate control, a rearview camera, a 7-inch display and more.
The Premium Plus trim gets 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, enhanced styling, parking sensors and a premium sound system. It also gets heated seats, keyless ignition and entry, satellite radio and more. It can also be upgraded with a Technology package with numerous safety features such as collision mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, a 12.3-inch display, navigation and more.
The 2017 Audi A4 Prestige gets all the features of the Technology package, all the standard features of the other two trims and then adds a heads-up display, a surround-view parking system, ambient lighting and HD radio.
Optional upgrade packages include the Sport, Sport Plus, Driver Assistance, Warm Weather and Cold Weather packages.
The 2017 Audi A4 has two engine options. The A4 gets a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Add the Ultra sub-trim and get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 190 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque.
The 2017 Audi A4 gets EPA fuel ratings of 27 miles per gallon. However, the Ultra sub trim gets significantly better gas mileage -- estimates put its mileage at up to 39 mpg on the freeway.
The Audi A4 is packed with safety features including blind spot monitors, lane-keep assistance and warnings for when bicyclists or other cars are driving up on your side. The insurance industry gave it a "Best Pick" designation for cars in its class. It got the top rating of "Good," for safety in front and rear collisions, as well as side impact.
